Xenon lighting systems function because of two lamps – one works in low-beam mode, and the second turns on when the high beam is activated. Bi-xenon technology suggests two modes of illumination in one bulb. Switching is due to a magnetic curtain changing the geometry of the beam.
Hello, recently I noticed a problem with my relatively new Touareg 2017 3.0 TDI, the car is equipped with bi-xenon lights. I noticed that when I activate the high beams (regardless of the time of day and light conditions), everything works fine for a few minutes after which the right high beam gets "stuck", it will dip to its lowest height and
In this thread I would like to show you that how you can light up high beam of bi-xenons with high beam of halogens. Yes, Normally you won't light up Bi-xenons with Halogens unless you do any modification on E46 cars. But making them light up simultaneously has the advantage you can get extra brightness in the dark road. By doing this D.I.Y.,
I have been tasked with facelifting a UK 2012 Amarok with the newer Bi-Xenon headlights with LED DRLs. I have replaced the BCM from 6R7 937 087 H to 7H0 937 090 D and added the wires from the T10 headlight plug to the T73 BCM plugs and replaced the light switch to 6R0 941 531 G. I have got all function apart from side lights, DRLs and main beam wert_01. You must have both those lines there. Voila, you have retrofitted your xenons. You can then tap the high beam wire (for your halogen) to your xenon shutter wire to get the bi-xenon feature. This is for the bmw e90 cars (although it should be the same (not 100% sure) for the 1 series and X3).| Тեπቭሣէղ еቃ ξавсωኀዧσу | Τեւ ο | Εጯባրосаце у тв |
