kraut_pauer79. The 4.2L V8 is for sure a more involved and expensive Q7/Touareg to own, but it is significantly more powerful than the 3.6L. They were dog-slow with the 3.2L, the 3.6 only made it a tiny bit better. Both engines get horrible gas mileage, so you may as well get the one with more competent acceleration.
