then go up and murder looters 3-5 versus 100. get yourself/companions 100 levels of bow and riding in ONE battle. take them up and go within 130ish range. stop. let your companions fire while not moving. as looters get within 50m, move again. go back out to 130ish. stop again. repeat. stopping lets your companions aim better, and get his.
Level 10-20 in under 30 minutes. Simply spam these out on your smithing character and have the companion you want to level smelt them down. They will gain 1850 exp towards each level per sword, regardless of their smithing level or whether or not they gain smithing exp. This means you only need to craft ~220 swords to level them from 10-20, and TL;DR - The easiest way to level companions is to make them use skills that they don't know how to use. You want to find a low-level companion, with attributes and focus, but not skill in the skills you care about, then equip them with weapons they don't know how to use. Similar to your character, they level up their skills as you progress, so it’s worth recruiting these companions as early as possible to reap the full benefit later on in the game. Here’s how
Bannerlord – Level 100: +2 to party size for each fief you own. Swords As Tribute – Level 150: +10 to party size for every vassal. Man-at-Arms – Level 175 : +5 to party size for each fief
Consider the companion you hire as the final you will get. I am using the Bannerlord tweaks mod which makes you level up much faster compared to vanilla. My companions are doing a lot worse job but still better than normal. But the skills you want them for, like surgeon, engineer, roguery or scout move at a snail pace at best, barely noticeably oADvaMQ.
